This was really cute.
The ending killed me.
The models are a bit... off but it's still really cool
Pretty fun but I wish the songs were more memorable and had definitive endings.
For some reason whenever I let go of the right arrow it repositions my duck to the left-most side of the screen making the game virtually unplayable
this slaps harder than yo mama's backhand
"Excuse me. Everyone, I have a brief announcement to make. Jesus was black, Ronald Reagan was the Devil, and the government is lying about 9/11. Thank you for your time and good night."
Akira Toriyama. One of the last gods of the monoculture is dead.
His legacy much like Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, Shigeru Miyamato, Jack Kirby and Walt Disney is creating a modern-day Hercules-es. Characters whose journeys will be told and retold for generations long after we are gone.
Goku has become the face of an entire medium of storytelling, the characters he helped design for Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger belong to some of the most beloved games of all time, these, his unreal creativity has influenced so many people to pick up a pen and begin creating art themselves, his work was so jaw-dropping that it popularised a completely niche form of animation throughout the entire world, systems that he came up with because he didn't want to spend so much time inking his art have had such a dramatic effect on fiction that it's not even funny.
The man's influence on others speaks for itself: Sonic the Hedgehog, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Street Fighter, Tekken, Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, Steven Universe, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, YuYu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter, the Mother series, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Digimon, Mario and many more pieces of fiction took inspiration from Akira Toriyama's works. It's an insane legacy that any artist would be jealous of and that any person should respect.
Rest in Piece Mr Toriyama, may your family and other loved ones grieve in peace and "may heaven be the joyous world you envisioned"
I love the irregularity of this piece like the bumpy egg and even Birdo's eyes. It makes it stand out a bunch
